About This Blog

Welcome to the R-LAMP blog!  This is a blog focused on using R as part of a LAMP application.

At the very least, this will serve as a place for people to find references on getting up and going with R and LAMP.  Potentially it will grow to also contain information on other web components useful for statistics and plots, such as Google Charts.

If anyone would like to add relevant posts, drop me a note and I can add you as an author.

  1. Hi, Charlie,

I am setting up RApache on this Ubuntu server in Amazon cloud. Everything seems fine except that after I changed the httpd.conf file to add the above entries, the brew file and test.r file does not run those r code, simply print the source file out in the browser. Any idea what I may have missed? I did checked the loaded modules in Apache, mod_R.so is indeeded loaded in apache. The RApacheInfo page also can not be found.

But why is it not working?

  2. btw, I did remember to restart apache everytime I modify something in httpd.conf, and I am quite positive it is the right httpd.conf file I should be modifying, since if I made a typo, I can not restart apache
